About Me
My Background
After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management through Covenant College I moved back home to the deep South. I dreamt of Fusion Floral Design as a business adventure for many years. Through prayer, determination and years of designing under someone else's umbrella I have made the leap to being on my own. This is my passion, I love what I do, I love growing flowers and plants, and have a deep respect for God's beautiful earth.  Flowers move me and intrigue me. Through flowers, I work to express the personalities and sensibilities of my clients and create the true essence of their wedding day. I seek out unique materials, immerse myself in color combinations color trends, and various blooms tirelessly, to bring only the most exceptional blossoms and most unique vision to the table. I love mother nature and all its beauty; large ancient oaks covered in spanish moss with branches low enough to swaddle me, white sandy beaches with the perfect tone of aqua blue or seafoam green, wildflowers growing alongside those back country roads that wave at you as you pass by, weathered red barns in the middle of a wheat field, perfectly distressed driftwood that shows up next to to a oystershell treasure trove. I get inspiration from all of earth's beauty and my drive comes from my family and my clients that I enjoy serving to create that extra beauty on an already beautiful day.

At Fusion Floral Design, our focus is on designing unique and custom floral pieces for your wedding or special event. Fusion Floral is not a retail shop florist, which has allowed for more freedom in focusing all of our time on our clients and give each of them the attention they need when planning their special day. Fusion Floral hopes that from the first time you contact us via an email or phone call that you will feel very special. Our goal is to make sure that every client enjoys planning for their special day, this process should be fun.
Behind the name of Fusion Floral Design is Lead Designer Jessica Hertel. Jessica has over 13 years of experience in the floral industry. Jessica has a sharp eye for design, color, balance and harmony all the elements necessary for creating a beautiful event. She can do many design styles organic, modern, industrial, vintage or a combination of two styles. Some of our clients know exactly what they want and others have no idea. Jessica will work with you and help you develop your aesthetic and turn an ordinary place into an extraordinary place.
